Pleasant Creek Trail Run
Pleasant Creek Trail Run takes place September 11, 2027 in Palo, Iowa at Pleasant Creek Park. The event uses the park's outer equestrian loop, a 15K loop that serves as the building block for each distance. The race starts near the playground area north of the beach parking lot.

All distances run the loop clockwise and return to the start/finish after each loop. The course is primarily dirt and grass trails with possible small water crossings. The terrain includes rolling hills. No strollers or pets are allowed on the course.
Awards and prizes are offered for top finishers. The top male and female overall winners receive a cash prize plus free registration to the next year (cash payouts: 45K $150, 30K $75, 15K $50). Record bonuses are available (45K $150; 30K and 15K $100). Age-group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in these groups: 29 & under, 30-45, and 46+. Overall top finishers are not eligible for age-group awards.
Registration opens January 1, 2027 at 12:00 AM CT. There is no day-of registration. Shirts are available as a $15 add-on and sizes are guaranteed only through September 1. No bib transfers or refunds. Race-day distance changes are not allowed; distance changes must be made before race day. Timing services and live updates are provided by OnlineRaceResults.
Parking follows volunteer directions to the Pleasant Creek Beach grass field; do not park on grass elsewhere. A post-race cookout and beverages are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
