High Hope Endurance Run

The High Hope Endurance Run takes place over Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-25, 2026, at High Hope Ranch in Glen Rose, Texas. The event offers a range of trail distances across ranch land and marked routes through the Texas Hill Country.

Distances offered:

  • 200K
  • 100K
  • 50K
  • 25K
  • 10K
  • 5K

The event emphasizes low-impact trail use and respect for the ranch, which practices biodynamic agriculture and borders wildlife habitat. Participants must stay on marked trails and follow leave-no-trace principles. The event is cupless and environmentally focused; participants are expected to bring their own hydration vessel for refilling at aid stations.

Aid stations are staffed by volunteers known as the "Mighty Herd" and provide food and on-course support. Registered participants receive an official event T-shirt and a finisher medal; 100K and 200K finishers receive ultra buckles. There are no place or division awards.

Camping and boondocking are free for registered participants plus one guest. Camping is primitive with no hookups and no open fires. Entrance and parking on event grounds are free. The organizer may alter the course or schedule in response to severe weather. Registration fees are non-refundable but may be transferred, deferred, or moved to another category according to the event policy. Maps and GPX files are provided by the organizer for the course.
