The course uses 8-mile loops. Each 8-mile loop has about 800 to 1,000 feet of elevation gain and includes steep climbs and technical terrain. The trails pass through park scenery and provide varied terrain that affects pace and footing.

The event has a specified refund and transfer policy. Cancellations more than 30 days before race day receive 100 percent race credit for another Blaze Trails Running event. Cancellations between 30 days and two weeks before race day receive 50 percent race credit. No refunds or transfers are allowed less than two weeks before race day. Credits must be used within one year, with possible extensions for medical reasons or military deployments if arranged in advance.

Registration closes on the event date, April 18, at 11:59 PM CT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
