Camp Classic at El Tesoro 10k

Camp Classic Trail Run

The Camp Classic Trail Run takes place at Camp El Tesoro in Granbury on January 22 and 23, 2027. This is the eighth annual running event and it offers trail races for adults and a kids fun run for children.

• Kids 1K Fun Run (age 12 or younger)

Both the 5K and 10K begin at the same starting line. The 5K completes one full loop of the camp and the 10K covers two laps of the same loop. Mile markers are posted and a water station is located at approximately 1.7 miles; 5K runners pass it once and 10K runners pass it twice. Strollers are not permitted on the trails. Chip timing is provided by Race Day Event Services and results are available within 1 to 2 minutes of crossing the finish line. Trained responders from the DeCordova Bend Estates / Acton Volunteer Fire Department will provide first aid support at the finish area.

Weekend options include a Friday gourmet dinner in the dining hall and an overnight cabin stay. Cabins are climate-controlled group-style lodging that sleep 12, include private restrooms, and offer a light breakfast on race morning. Free parking with attendants will be available on race day.

Pre-race fees are: 5K $30, 10K $40, Kids 1K free. Event day walk-up fees are: 5K $40, 10K $50, Kids 1K $15. Race shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by February 14. All registration fees are non-refundable and support the Camp Fire Camp Scholarship Fund. Walk-up registration will be available at the event.
