The Camp Classic at El Tesoro is a trail run held at Camp El Tesoro in Granbury, Texas. The 2026 event on March 7 will be the seventh annual race.

Course and Setting

The trail run course takes place on the grounds of Camp El Tesoro. The route passes through woods, prairies, and paths near a creek. Participants park in a designated lot and walk across a swinging bridge to reach the staging area in front of the Main Lodge.

Additional Activities and Options

An archery games activity is available for spectators and racers. Optional additions to the race weekend include a gourmet dinner and a cabin stay on the camp grounds the night before the event.

Awards and Logistics

Awards are given for the 5K and 10K distances. Categories include overall, masters, and first place in various age groups for both men and women. The award ceremony is held in the camp's Main Lodge.

Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on race morning at the Welcome Center. The camp grounds have a policy prohibiting pets, alcohol, and smoking.
