Lone Star Night Run

Weatherford, United States • 6 Sep 2025

The Lone Star Night Run is held in Weatherford, Texas, on Lake Mineral Wells State Park’s Trailway in the North Texas foothills. Runners may tackle a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, or a 10K RUCK. The paved course uses soft fine gravel and runs out-and-back from the Weatherford Trailhead, with mostly flat terrain and a small turnaround incline.

Headlamps are required; the race is cupless with water refill stations, plus a shuttle from overflow parking, aid stations, and a finish-line food truck. It’s part of the Texas Summer Night Series; completing 3 of 6 races earns collectible medals and a waterproof duffle bag. Finisher, placement, RUCK patch, and DFL awards are awarded.
