Lone Star Night Run - Weatherford TX

The Lone Star Night Run is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at the Weatherford Trailhead on the Lake Mineral Wells State Park Trailway. The course is an out and back on an open trail surfaced with soft, fine gravel. Elevation is relatively flat with a slight incline on the outbound portion and a downhill toward the finish.

  • Half Marathon (13.1 miles) out and back course
  • 10K Ruck with specified weight requirements

The event notes that a shuttle will transport participants to the start and back from the finish. Parking at the start/finish is first come, first served; overflow parking is at Cartwright Park Soccer Fields.

Required gear and support: a headlamp or light is required for all distances. This is a cupless event and participants must bring a water carrying system; 32 oz is recommended. Aid is provided at the main tent (mile 0 and finish) with water, pickle juice, electrolytes and bananas, and at additional hydration stations offering water and electrolytes.
