Night Claw

Night Claw is a nighttime trail event in Glen Rose, Texas that uses trails in Dinosaur Valley State Park with the start and finish at a field outside the park. The course runs on dirt and rocky single-track trails and includes a river crossing. The 10K loop is hilly and shows about 650 ft elevation gain.

Aid and on-course services include aid stations with cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice, plus separate water stations offering water and ice. The 10K, 4-hour, 6-hour, and 8-hour events use 10K loops. Drop bag transport to aid stations is not provided; drop bags may be left at the start/finish area.

Required gear and rules: a headlamp is required for all events. A water carrying system is required for all events, with a 16-ounce minimum except for the 4M. Ruck weight requirements apply for the 10K Ruck: runners over 150 lb carry 30 lb, and those under 150 lb carry 20 lb.
