Great Langdale 21

Great Langdale 21 is a trail run and walk around the valleys of Great Langdale and Little Langdale, based at the Lanty Slees Stickle Barn. The course covers 21km with 850m of ascent and follows fully marked trails and footpaths. The event is part of the Rab Scafell Skyrunning weekend.

The event is organised by a professional events team and allows separate starts for walkers and runners. A maximum time of six hours is allowed to complete the route. The event centre is located in the heart of the Lakes and takes place within a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Participants receive a recycled paper mache wild flower seed bomb medal. The venue and grounds at Lanty Slees Stickle Barn offer a relaxed atmosphere and the programme includes live music during the event.
