The Froggy Mountain event is scheduled for June 19–20, 2026, in Galax, VA, at 166 Old Quaker Rd. It features two distance options and is held entirely on private property. Registration closes June 18, 2026. Packet pickup and a pre-race meeting are scheduled on race morning. Organizers request shirt sizes by June 1.

Course and race details

The course uses a 1-mile loop with approximately 500 feet of vertical gain per loop. Aid is available at the start/finish area on every loop, and hot food will be served throughout the event. The event provides portable toilets, a hot outdoor shower, and limited tent and car camping options. Leashed pets are allowed. There is a 60-hour cutoff. All finishers receive a finisher buckle; entrants who register by May 13 are guaranteed a buckle on race day, and later registrants will be mailed buckles.

Run the scenic, flat New River Trail on all dirt out and back courses offering 10K, 25K, 50K and a 100k with a finisher buckle. Aid stations support runners but this is a cupless race so bring your own bottle or cup.
