The Froggy Mountain event near Galax, VA, offers two ultramarathon distances on private property at 166 Old Quaker Road. The event includes a 100 mile race and a 50 mile race on a closed loop course.

The course is a one mile loop with approximately 500 feet of vertical gain per loop. Aid is available at the start and finish area each loop, and hot food is served throughout the event. The event uses a 60 hour cutoff.

Onsite amenities include portable toilets and a hot outdoor shower. Limited tent and car camping options are available and the organizer provides camping details on request. Leashed pets are allowed. Finishers receive buckles; entrants who register by May 13 are guaranteed a finisher buckle on race day, while later registrants will have buckles mailed after the race. Organizers request participant shirt sizes by June 1. Registration closes June 18.
