Event

Froggy Mountain Adventures organizes races near Galax, VA on private property. The event offers the following distances:

Course and logistics

The course is a 1 mile loop with approximately 500 feet of vertical gain per loop. Aid is available at the start/finish area on each loop, and hot food is served throughout the event. The event uses a 60 hour cutoff. Facilities include portable toilets, a hot outdoor shower, and limited tent and car camping. Leashed pets are allowed. Run the New River Trail Races on April 11 in Fries Virginia, a scenic, flat, 100 percent dirt out and back along the New River and Chestnut Creek. Choose 100k 50K 25K or 10K; headlamps are required for the 100k and finishers earn a buckle.
