Crystal Springs Ultra Races

Crystal Springs Ultra Races take place at the Crystal Springs Recreation Area in Wytheville, Virginia. The event uses a loop course that includes sections of the High Rocks Spur Trail and Boundary Trail. Trails are technical in some areas and include significant elevation change.

Distances offered:

• Half: 12.8 miles, 2,008 ft of gain (1 loop)
• Full: 25.6 miles, 4,016 ft of gain (2 loops)
• Ultra: 38.4 miles, 6,024 ft of gain (3 loops)

Parking at Crystal Springs is limited and a shuttle is required on race day; the shuttle runs repeatedly during the day to move participants between parking and the course. Packet pickup is scheduled on the Friday before the race at Seven Sisters Brewery in downtown Wytheville and the morning of the race at the start/finish area. Race day registration is available on site. If registering after August 1, a race shirt is not guaranteed. Entry fees are nonrefundable; runners may transfer distances up to the day before the race and may transfer entries to another runner for the same year.
