Forever 5 & 10 Milers

The Forever 5 & 10 Milers take place in Blue Ridge, Virginia on January 31, 2026. The event uses miles 55 to 60 of the Hellgate 100k course, a rocky backcountry section of the Glenwood Horse Trail that runs between Day Creek Day Use Area and Bobblets Gap Road. Both the 5 mile and 10 mile courses are out and back. The 5 miler includes a volunteer or timing point at the halfway mark. The 10 miler includes a timing point at Bobblets Gap Road to verify that participants reached the turnaround.

Packet pickup is scheduled at three locations and times: Thursday January 29 at Gilbert Chiropractic in Salem, Friday January 30 at Fleet Feet Sports in Roanoke, and Saturday January 31 at Day Creek Day Use Area beginning at 7:15. A course briefing is scheduled for 8:40 on event day. The event offers virtual run options for both the 5 mile and 10 mile distances and includes a Forever Race and RNUTS bundle option.
