Crooked Road 24 Hour Ultra

Scheduled for March 6 to March 7, 2027, this event takes place at Waid Park in Rocky Mount, Virginia. The event offers multiple participation options, including solo entries for shorter segments, a full 24 hour solo option, and relay teams of two to four runners.

Registration fees vary by entry type; listed fees include a solo fee of $85.00 and a relay fee of $65.00, and some solo entry options are listed with no fee. Chip timing will be used to record laps and distances.

The course is a USATF certified 1.178 mile loop with certification code VA17001BDS. The surface is mostly flat cinders, a non paved surface. Participants may find gaiters helpful on this surface.

Awards are planned for several performance categories: longest distance over the full 24 hour period, most laps in the first four hours, most laps from noon to midnight (12 hours), and most laps from midnight to 9am (8 hours). Runners may begin and end their effort according to the entry option they choose; participants can start when they want and stop when they are done.
