Crooked Road 24 Hour Ultra
Rocky Mount, United States • 7-8 Mar 2026
The Crooked Road 24 Hour Ultra is an endurance ultramarathon held in Rocky Mount, Virginia, at Franklin County’s Waid Park. The race features a scenic, mostly flat 1.178-mile loop on a crushed-cinder path that winds through the park and along the Pigg River. Participants can compete solo or in 2-4 person relays, running continuously for up to 24 hours.
The event offers a supportive atmosphere with aid stations, personal aid station space, and overnight camping. Awards include medals for completing over a marathon distance and special buckles for those reaching 100 miles. The race celebrates perseverance and community, inspired by Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail, "The Crooked Road.". Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
