Into the Darkness Night Trail Run

Into the Darkness Night Trail Run is the Roanoke Valley’s night-time trail race, returning for its 19th edition on October 25, 2025. The event starts and finishes at Explore Park, Roanoke, VA, with a new course this year. Runners cover about 3.6 miles, beginning with a 0.25-mile asphalt section before winding through twisty, rolling single-track trails on the XCO course in reverse.

Trails are marked with reflective arrows, glow sticks, and decor for a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. A light source is mandatory; headlamps and flashlights are recommended (not provided).
