Five Peaks Running Festival 2026
The Five Peaks Running Festival is a multi-distance trail running event across the Adelaide Hills on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people. It takes place on Sunday 19 April 2026 and is the first event in the SA Five 50 Ultra Series. Distances offered include:

- 17 km
- 10 km
The 58 km and 26 km events are UTMB® Index races and ITRA National Challenge events, with the 58 km distance listed as worth 3 ITRA points and the 26 km worth 1 ITRA point.
Course and logistics
The full course begins near Foxfield Oval in Athelstone and finishes at the Main Oval in Belair National Park. The route uses sections of the Yurrebilla Trail and includes Black Hill Conservation Park, Morialta Conservation Park, Mount Lofty Summit and varied terrain such as single-track, fire trail, road and sealed surfaces. Drink stations are located along the course and provide water, fruit, basic foods, Tailwind Mandarin-flavoured endurance drink and, at some stations, brownies and other snacks. Drop-bag service is available for Ultra runners at the Coach Road aid station, with bags returned to the finish. Electronic timing, first aid attendants, free event photography and parking in Belair National Park are provided. Bus pick-up locations for start-line transfers include Bus Stop 27A on Upper Sturt Road and Gums Oval inside the park; bus tickets are listed at $20.
