Race #4 Cleland National Park : September 6, 2026
This event is set in Cleland National Park on Mount Lofty Summit Road, Crafers SA. The course uses a network of trails through native woodlands, forests, perched swamps, creeks and cultural heritage zones, with views across the Adelaide Hills. Wildlife sightings such as kangaroos and koalas are commonly noted along the trails.
Multiple route options are offered:
- Long – 21 km
- Medium – 16 km
- Short – 10 km
- Kids cross-country – 1–1.5 km
The long course is listed as a UTMB® Index race and an ITRA National Challenge event. Runners must remain ahead of course sweepers; pace cutoffs apply (example paces published for each distance) and will be enforced. Walkers may take part only in the short event.
Aid and event services include drink stations supplying water and lollies, with participants required to bring their own drinking container. Post-race offerings include free fruit, nibbles and the event’s brownies, sponsor tents, and a short massage service. A members-only random draw takes place during the event.
A free kids cross-country run is organised on the day with sign-up at the registration tent; a TRSA committee member will lead the run and a tail runner will be present, and adults are encouraged to accompany young children.
Parking may be restricted depending on entry numbers; detailed parking instructions are provided in the race briefing. Late entries are not accepted and entries must be completed by the Thursday before the event. Enter by Thursday 20 August to have a name printed on a bib.
