Race #3 Sturt Gorge : Sturt Gorge Recreation Park

This trail event takes place at Sturt Gorge Recreation Park in Craigburn Farm, South Australia. Courses run on winding single-track through woodland slopes and bushland, with creek lines, rocky sections and open hillside views. Creek crossings are part of the route and participants may have wet feet in places.

The event offers multiple course options and measured elevation gains. Distances are provided with course maps and are subject to change; organisers recommend downloading final routes shortly before the event.

  • Long course: 21 km, 606 m elevation
  • Medium course: 15 km, 413 m elevation
  • Short course: 9 km, 234 m elevation

Event amenities after the race include fruit, snacks, chocolate brownies, sponsor tents and massage services. Parking is limited; car pooling is requested and some attendees may need to walk 15 or more minutes to the start area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
