Winter 2026 - State Cross Country Championships

The State Cross Country Championships are hosted by Athletics SA in partnership with Little Athletics SA at Waite Campus on 19 July 2026. The program includes races across junior, senior, masters and para categories. Late registrations for this event are closed.

Entries for Little Athletics SA are completed via ResultsHQ and entries for Athletics SA are completed via RevSport. Athletes who are registered with both organisations and wish to compete in both championships must enter separately with each organisation. State team information is provided for athletes born in 2016 or earlier.

Event documentation is available, including an athlete information pack, FAQs for junior athletes, start lists, course maps and technical regulations. These materials cover event procedures, course layouts and the rules that apply at the championships.

Age group equivalencies are published to align Little Athletics and Athletics SA categories; the event lists equivalencies for athletes born between 2009 and 2016. The championships feature multiple distance categories to accommodate the different age and classification groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
