Federation Ultra Trail - Monarto Safari Park to Murray Bridge
The Federation Ultra Trail is a trail running event held at Monarto Safari Park and along the southern end of the Lavender/Federation Trail, finishing at the riverside trail head at Sturt Reserve in Murray Bridge. The event began in 2018 and uses walking trails inside Monarto Safari Park, giving runners views of roaming animals such as meerkats, giraffe, bison, chimpanzees and rhinos. Proceeds from the event have raised in excess of A$35,000 donated to Monarto Safari Park.
The event joined the S.A. Five 50’s Ultra series in 2019; that series is now in its seventh year. Multiple race options and a relay team option are offered, with different registration price tiers and limited spots available for some events.

- Fed Mid Distance 26km
- Fed 10km Zoo Loop, starts and finishes at the visitor centre
- Zoo Five 5km family friendly and for walkers
- Fed Relay 56km up to four person relay, team entry
