Event overview

The Federation Ultra Trail is a trail running event held at Monarto Safari Park Visitor Centre, Monarto Road, Monarto SA, Australia on Sunday, 9 August 2026. The course runs along the southern end of the Lavender/Federation Trail from Monarto Safari Park to the riverside trail head at Sturt Reserve in Murray Bridge. The route includes access to Monarto Safari Park walking trails, where participants may see roaming African animals such as meerkats, giraffe, bison, chimpanzees and rhinos. Proceeds from past events have raised more than A$35,000 donated to Monarto Safari Park for endangered species protection. Since 2019 the event has been part of the S.A. Five 50’s Ultra series.
