Federation Ultra Trail

The Federation Ultra Trail is a trail running event on the southern end of the Lavender Federation Trail. The course goes from the Monarto Safari Park Visitor Centre to the Sturt Reserve in Murray Bridge. Runners get exclusive access to the walking trails of Monarto Safari Park.

The event offers several distance options:

  • FED Ultra: Approximately 56 km
  • Fed 35k: 35 km
  • FED 26km: 26 km
  • FED 10km: A 10 km Zoo Loop starting and finishing at the new visitor centre
  • Zoo Five: A 5 km Zoo Loop, described as family-friendly and for walkers
  • FED Relay 56km: A relay for up to four people

Proceeds from the event have previously been donated to Monarto Safari Park to help protect endangered species, raising over $35,000. The event is also part of the S.A. Five 50's Ultra series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
