Murray Bridge Running Festival 2026
The Murray Bridge Running Festival takes place on Sunday 1 November 2026 at Sturt Reserve, Murray Cods Drive, Murray Bridge, South Australia. The event village sits on the lawn between the playground and the skate park, with the start area next to the town Bunyip. Road closures affect access to Sturt Reserve and parking is organised via a car parking plan.
Distances offered in 2026:
- 5 km Spooky Halloween fun run or walk, children 50% discount
- 10 km run, under 18 competitors receive a 50% discount
- 21.1 km half marathon
The full marathon distance is not held in 2026 because of construction works on the levee banks; the marathon is scheduled to return in 2027. The half marathon has a stated cut off pace of 8 minutes 30 seconds per kilometre. The 10 km and 5 km have a cut off pace of 12 minutes 30 seconds per kilometre. There is no race day registration for the half marathon.
Bib collection is available at the Bridgeport Hotel on the day before the event and at Sturt Reserve on race day. The event village includes a skate park, pump track and undercover playground, plus a coffee van and First Care Medical for first aid. Finishers medals are awarded for the half marathon and some category medals are presented in the 5 km and 10 km events.
