The Murray Bridge Marathon Festival returns for its eighth annual edition on November 1, 2026, in Murray Bridge, South Australia. Hosted by Murraylands Multisports Inc, this event is themed for Halloween and features multiple classic distances along the Murray River.

The course begins and ends at Sturt Reserve near the Bunyip landmark. Participants run through various city highlights, including the riverside esplanade, the reserve, and Bridge Street. A notable feature of the route is a full bridge closure, allowing participants to run across the first bridge ever built to span the Murray River.

The festival offers four different event distances:

The 5 km Monster Mash Fun Run is specifically marketed as a Halloween celebration where participants are encouraged to wear costumes.
