Summer Series 2025-26 overview

The Adelaide Trail Runners Summer Series 2025-26 comprises five trail races across the Adelaide region. The series opens at Black Hill, Athelstone on 23 November 2025 and closes with a new Surf Run at Port Elliot on 15 March 2026. Other race locations and dates are Bridgewater on 14 December 2025, Belair National Park on 11 January 2026, and Cleland National Park on 22 February 2026. Entries open midday Friday 26 September. Series medals will be presented at the final race of the year.

Format, courses and entry details

  • Long Course - 18-22 km

To qualify for series awards a runner must start at least four of the five races. Points are awarded for finishing in the top five of each age group and the top five overall. Points for Races 1-4 are: 1st 25, 2nd 16, 3rd 12, 4th 9, 5th 7. Race 5 carries 50% bonus points: 1st 38, 2nd 24, 3rd 18, 4th 14, 5th 11. Only the best four scores count. Age groups will move to 10-year increments (20-29, 30-39, etc). Minimum ages: Long 15 years, Medium 12 years, Short 10 years (permission may be granted prior to event). Cut-off times are Long 3.5 hours, Medium 3 hours, Short 2.5 hours, and 5 km 2 hours. Standard and late entry fees are listed per distance and a five-race series entry attracts a 15% discount; final entries close the Friday before each race.
