Race #5 Mount Bold
Race #5 Mount Bold is the TRSA Trail Championship held at Mount Bold Reservoir Reserve, Mount Bold Road, Kangarilla SA. The reserve surrounds the largest reservoir in South Australia and more than 5,500 hectares of land with native vegetation of conservation significance.
The course runs around the reservoir and passes stringybark and manna gum woodlands, swamps and creeks. Native wildlife is present, including the Southern Brown Bandicoot. The event offers multiple race distances, drink stations with water, Tailwind and lollies, and participants must bring their own drinking container because cups are not supplied.

- Free fruit, nibbles and the event's chocolate brownies
- Optional post-event lunch at Anvers Wines
- Short event available to walkers only

- Medium - 19 km
- Short - 10 km
- Kids cross country - 1 km
The extra long and long courses are UTMB Index races and ITRA National Challenge events; the courses do not attract ITRA points. Course cutoffs are strictly enforced and runners must remain ahead of course sweepers; specific paces apply by distance. Entry rules include a members' super early-bird period, discounted U15 kids entries, and no late entries after the registration deadline.
