Ultra Adelaide is a trail ultramarathon in Adelaide, South Australia, scheduled for 11 July 2026 with a finish in the city near the River Torrens Footbridge beside Adelaide Oval. The event uses trails in the Adelaide Hills and follows sections of the Heysen Trail through Kuitpo, Mount Lofty, Cleland, Morialta and Black Hill before descending to the city. The 100-mile field has 11 manned full-service aid stations stocked with water, Tailwind nutrition, Coke, fresh fruit, lollies and crisps. The event operates a plastic-free policy; runners must provide their own water vessels except the 21 km course, which has paper cups at two hydration stations and Brookway for 21 km runners. GPX course files are provided and runners are required to have the GPX on the Gaia Maps app during the event.
Cut-offs are 36 hours for the 100-mile distance and 28 hours for the 100 km; all other distances must finish within those limits. Drop bags are permitted for 50 km, 100 km and 100 mile entrants only (maximum supermarket cooler bag size, labelled and handed in at check-in). Pacers are permitted for 34 km, 50 km, 100 km and 100 mile races and must join at designated aid stations; pacers are not permitted for 21 km.
