ATR Summer Series - Bridgewater

Bridgewater is the second race in the Adelaide Trail Runners Summer Series 2026/27, scheduled for 13 December 2026. It is one of six races in the series and contributes to the overall series points and age group standings.

Points awarded at Bridgewater follow the standard distribution used for Cleland North, Bridgewater, Belair and Cleland South: 1st 25, 2nd 16, 3rd 12, 4th 9 and 5th 7. Runners score points for finishing in the top five of their age group and the top five overall in each distance. Only each competitor’s best four results from the six races count toward series totals. To qualify for series awards a competitor must start at least four of the six races.

The series uses 10-year age groups for most distances (20-29, 30-39, and so on). The XL race category has different age brackets: Under 25, 25-40, 40-55 and 55+. Prizes are awarded to male and female categories only; non-binary participants are welcome but no prizes are offered for those categories. A competitor’s age group is determined by their age on 17 January 2027.

Minimum age limits apply: XL and Long courses require a minimum age of 15 years, Medium 12 years and Short 10 years unless prior permission is granted. A 5 km race option is offered, but there are no series awards for the 5 km distance.
