Lofty's Revenge is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026, with the finish at Mt Lofty Summit in South Australia. The event is organised by Adelaide Trail Runners and uses a mix of city trails, local roads and hill tracks between Adelaide and Mt Lofty. The course includes the Linear Park Trail and sections around Black Hill and Norton Summit. All race distances finish at the Mt Lofty Summit.

Distances and course details

  • 50 km - Ultra marathon, finishes at Mt Lofty Summit.
  • 28 km - Starts at Foxfield Oval in Athelstone, finishes at Mt Lofty Summit.
  • 10 km - Starts and finishes at Mt Lofty Summit.

The 50 km event is listed with approximately 1,800 m of elevation gain and a route composition of about 70% trail and 30% road. The final 1 km on all distances follows Eurilla Track and includes a 600 m section with an approximate 20% gradient. A 3-person teams relay is offered for the 50 km only, split into legs of 16.1 km, 19.5 km and 14.6 km. Toilets are provided at the start of each relay leg. Aid station locations are available on the All Trails course maps (viewable in a web browser). The first 50 solo entries in the 50 km receive a free running cap.
