Adelaide 24 Hour Festival

The Adelaide 24 Hour Festival is a timed running and walking event held at Park 10 on War Memorial Drive in Warnpangga North Adelaide. Participants may enter one of several timed events and aim to cover as much distance as they can within their chosen time.

The festival offers the following timed events:

  • 3 Hour event
  • 6 Hour event
  • 12 Hour event
  • 24 Hour event

The course is a measured loop of 2,175 metres. Event facilities listed include an aid station, electronic timing, finisher medals, first aid presence, and toilets. The course is AIMS-measured but is ineligible for an IAU label due to the surface.

The event was first held in 2009 as a 6 hour race and later expanded to include 12 hour and 24 hour options; a 3 hour option was added in later years. Organisers provide event documents such as a handbook, a race briefing, and food and drink availability information.

Event administration notes include on-the-day bib collection and published policies on refunds, transfers, and rescheduling for bad weather. Optional protections such as refund protection and bad weather insurance are available for purchase and affect eligibility for refunds or credits.
