Event Information
The FCA Endurance Race takes place in Oakwood, Georgia, at 3820 Mundy Mill Rd, on the campus of the University of North Georgia.
Race Distances and Format
The event features several race formats:
- A 5k race
- A 10k race
- Timed endurance events of 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, and 24 hours
The race course is a one-mile paved loop on the road around the campus. Participants can run or walk. Overall winners for men and women will be recognized for each race duration. The event is professionally chip-timed.
Start Times
For the 5k, 10k, and 24-hour races, the start time is 8:00 AM. For all other timed durations (2, 4, 6, and 12 hours), runners have the option to start at either 8:00 AM or 6:00 PM.
On-Site Facilities
The checkpoint and main area is in a large parking lot, designated as "Tent City." Participants can set up their own tents in designated grass areas. This area will have aid stations, a medical tent, and food and nutrition. Runners also have access to a gymnasium for bathrooms and showers.
