Course, cutoffs, and policies
The route uses non-technical single-track trails through wooded terrain with rolling hills and short climbs. The 50K is composed of two 13.2-mile loops and one 5.2-mile loop. The half marathon consists of one loop. Races begin and end at the same location and visit aid stations that are accessible to family and friends. The park has a playground and multiple passes by the start/finish area, which supports spectator access.
Time cutoffs: 50K - 9 hours; 13.2 - 5 hours; 50/50 Challenge - 9 hours (strict). For the 50/50 Challenge, runners may attempt the extra miles after completing the 50K but must finish 50 miles within the 50K 9-hour cutoff to receive credit. No one had completed the full 50-mile challenge prior to 2025. All entrants receive a race item; 50/50 finishers receive a challenge shirt. Top three men and women in each race receive recognition and free entry the following year.
