Flatrock - Georgia
Flatrock is a trail running event held in Dacula, Georgia at Harbins Park offering multiple distance options and a combined challenge. The organizer describes the course as true single track trail that is not technical, with undulating terrain and short hills that generally take a minute or two to climb.
Distances offered:
- 50K: two 13.2 mile loops plus one 5.2 mile loop
- Half Marathon: one loop
- 50/50 Challenge: attempt to complete 50 miles by continuing after the 50K
Races begin and end at the same location and share the same start. Aid stations are located on the course and are accessible to family and friends. The course layout allows runners to pass the start and finish area more than once, which supports spectator access and crew logistics. Organizers provide a handbook with complete race day information.
Cutoff times:
- 50K 9 hours
- 13.2 mile loop 5 hours
- 50/50 Challenge 9 hours strict cutoff; the 50/50 requires completing 50 miles within that cutoff or receiving no credit for either distance. Runners may choose to drop to the 50K before attempting the challenge.
Entries are capped and the event has sold out in recent years. All entrants receive a race item. Challenge finishers receive a specific shirt and other participants have access to complimentary race photos. Awards recognize the top three men and top three women in each race with special recognition and a free entry for the following year. Refund, transfer, and race credit options are available under the organizer refund policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
