Desert Wolf is a trail running event in Johnson City, Texas, organized by Texas Outlaw Running at Flat Creek Crossing Ranch. The event offers multiple distances and uses repeated loops on ranch terrain near Pedernal Falls State Park.

Trail runs nearby

Trail races of 8K, 25K and 50K plus an 8K ruck at Guadalupe River State Park on June 13 2026. Rocky single track, aid stations with food and ice, required water carry and specific ruck weight rules.

Experience a technical nighttime trail race at Muleshoe Bend near Austin. Choose from distances including 5K to 60K and a youth mile on rocky technical terrain through the scenic Lower Colorado River region.

A six hour trail endurance challenge in Johnson City TX where runners complete a 5K every hour and must finish each lap within the hour to continue. Finish all six laps to earn the OUTLAST medal and national leaderboard ranking.

Trail running at Krause Springs, Spicewood with 5k to 50k distances plus a youth run, aid stations, medals, on-site activities, and a cupless format. The event is postponed due to severe weather; transfer and reschedule options are offered.
