Desert Twilight XC Festival 5k

Desert Twilight XC Festival Community 5k is held in Mesa, Arizona as part of the Nike Desert Twilight Community Race, in its 16th year. It features Arizona's largest and most unique cross‑country meet, with a community night 5k illuminated by lights among 19 races. The course is partly grass, dirt, and cart path. The course opens in the afternoon for inspection and warm-ups, and spectators and athletes are asked to stay off the course until then. The first 175 registrants receive a Desert Twilight Community Race T-shirt, and awards go to overall winners plus top 3 in each age group.
