Course and logistics

Courses use winding trails in Usery Mountain Regional Park and sections of the Tonto National Forest and Goldfield Mountains. Notable features include cholla forests, the Levee Trail, sections of single track and OHV trail through Bulldog Canyon, the Maricopa Trail and Hawes Trail system, and a climb up Pass Mountain. Aid stations are stocked every 3.0 to 8.6 miles with water, electrolyte drink, snacks, and fruit; runners should plan to carry at least one bottle of water. The event is cupless; participants must bring a reusable cup or purchase one on site.

Crew and pacer rules vary by distance: pacers are permitted only for the 50 Mile at specified aid locations; crews have limited access at the start/finish and other designated points. Drop bags are available at the start/finish and at specified aid stations for the 50 Mile. A park entry fee applies per vehicle and shuttles serve some parking areas. Medical staff will be on site.
