AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Riparian Preserve

This event is the final leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series, held at Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert on August 8, 2026. The in-person event features a single measured distance around the park and is limited to 700 participants. The course follows a mix of gravel and concrete paths around the preserve; a course map is provided.

Two participation options are offered:

• 5K (in-person, limited to 700 participants)
• Virtual Run (US addresses only)

Registration fees vary by registration period; listed prices include processing fees. Virtual entries include shipping for event items and will receive the event medal and shirt option specific to this race. Race items for in-person registrants who do not attend will not be mailed.

Event services include chip timing with real-time results and event photos, extra water stations along the course, and a selection of event swag or a no-swag discount. Male and female age group awards are given to the top three in standard age brackets from youth through 80 and over. Packet pickup is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and on site at Riparian Preserve on race day. The event welcomes wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, walkers, and leashed pets; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed. The series is owned and operated by StartLine Racing.
