Desert Night Race Series
The Desert Night Race Series is a set of three Friday evening 5K events held once a month through October. Live races take place at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. The scheduled race dates are 8/21, 9/18, and 10/16.
Each race is chip timed and includes age group awards and raffle prizes. The series features three collectible desert themed medals, one awarded for each 5K. Races are limited to 250 entries and are likely to sell out.
The event series raises funds for Child Crisis Arizona. That organization works to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment free from abuse and neglect by supporting strong and successful families.
A series registration option offers early pricing and a free tech shirt for the series when registered by the early deadline. Individual race entries are priced with an early rate and increase by $5 two weeks before each race. An optional tech shirt is available for individual race entries; the same design is used for the series.
A virtual race option allows participants to run on a day and time of their choosing and submit a result to earn the collectible medal. Race packets usually ship during race week.
