Desert Night Race
The Desert Night Race Series is a set of three Friday evening 5K events held monthly through October at Arizona Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. Each live race is chip timed and includes age group awards and raffle prizes. The series features three different desert themed medals, one awarded for each 5K.
Entry is offered as a full series or as individual races. Early series registration includes a free tech shirt and reduced pricing; early series pricing is listed as $89 until 8/3. Individual race entry is listed at $35 with a $5 price increase two weeks before each race. Races are limited to 250 participants.
The series raises funds for Child Crisis Arizona. The organization’s mission is to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families.
A virtual option is available for participants who cannot attend a live race. Virtual entrants can complete their distance on a day and time of their choice, submit a time by email, and receive a collectible medal. Virtual registration remains open until the end of the series or until a race sells out. Race packets are usually shipped during race week.
