Desert Night Race Series

The Desert Night Race Series is a set of three Friday evening 5K races held once a month through October. Runners are encouraged to use headlamps and party lights. The series includes three different desert-themed medals, one for each 5K.

Live races take place at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. The series lists specific race dates as 8/21, 9/18, and 10/16. Each live race is chip timed and includes age group awards and raffle prizes. Race fields are limited to 250 spots.

Registration options include a series entry and individual race entries. Early series registration is priced at $89 until 8/3 and includes a free tech shirt for series registrants who register early. Individual races are $35 each with a $5 price increase two weeks before each race; a tech shirt is available for purchase with an individual entry. A virtual race option allows participants to run on their own day and submit a time by email; virtual entries still support the charity and receive a medal. Race packets typically ship during race week.

The event raises funds for Child Crisis Arizona. The organization’s mission is to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
