Vertigo Night Runs
Vertigo Night Runs take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at White Tank Mountain Regional Park in Waddell, AZ. The event is part of the Insomniac Night Trail Run Series and uses the Sonoran Competitive track loop, a 6.5 mile (10.4 kilometer) loop repeated for different distances. The loop includes steep inclines, swooping turns, technical descents, and rugged terrain.

There will be a fully stocked main aid station at the start and finish area plus a remote North Ridge aid station near KM 6.4 that runners will pass each loop. Aid station provisions include water, ice, electrolyte drinks Gnarly and Gatorade, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food such as quesadillas and grilled cheese. This is a cupless race so runners should bring a reusable cup or purchase one on site.
Crew access is allowed at the start and finish. Pacers are permitted only for the 52K beginning on the final loop. Drop bags are available at a designated start and finish area. There is ample parking adjacent to the Competitive Track and a park entry fee of $10 per vehicle. Camping is permitted with a separate $15 per night camping permit obtained at park entry. Pets are not allowed on course and must be leashed if present at the event.
Live split tracking will be available and race perks include a Vertigo branded race goody, finish line photo, chip timed results, Artworx finisher award, and podium awards for top three male and female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
