Event Overview
Vertigo Night Runs is a night trail running event held at White Tank Mountain Regional Park in Waddell, Arizona. It offers five distance options: 52K, 31K, 20K, 10K, and 6K. The event is part of the Insomniac Night Trail Run Series, which features events across Arizona.
Course Details
All races take place on the same 6.5-mile (10.4 km) Sonoran Competitive Track loop. The course features steep inclines, swooping turns, technical descents, and rugged terrain. Distances are achieved by running multiple loops of this track. The 52K is noted as an ultra-distance option, while the 6K is described as suitable for first-time night trail runners.
The event is a cupless race; participants must bring their own reusable cup or purchase one on-site. Aid stations are located at the start/finish area and at a remote North Ridge Aid station along the loop. They provide water, ice, electrolyte drinks, and various snacks and hot food.

The event date is Saturday, August 8, 2026. Bib pickup is available on the Thursday before the event at Aravaipa Headquarters in Phoenix and on race day at the park. Parking is available at the Competitive Track area, but there is a $10 park entry fee per vehicle.
