The Fat Ox Endurance Runs take place November 21–23, 2025 at Estrella Mountain Regional Park in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The event offers fixed-time and fixed-distance options on a certified loop. Distances include:

Course and on-site details
The event uses a USATF certified 0.988178 mile paved loop that circles the park turf area. The course records a total elevation gain of about 6 feet per loop and a maximum elevation of 923 feet. A fully stocked aid station is located on course 24 hours a day, with a separate water refill station on the opposite end of the loop. The timing tent and timing mats are positioned near the aid station. The venue does not have course lighting; participants running overnight should plan for personal lighting. Crew drop bags and spectator areas are provided; pacers are not permitted for these events.
Parking requires a Maricopa County park entry fee (listed as $7 per car per day). Camping is available for an additional fee in an overflow area about 400 feet from the course; tent and cot rentals are offered. An onsite EMT will be present for the event.
Championship, awards and rules
The event will host the USATF 24-Hour Championship during the weekend. A $4,000 prize purse is available for top men and women (1st $1,200; 2nd $500; 3rd $300). Championship eligibility and prize awards require current USATF membership and U.S. citizenship. Race rules include no cutting inside course markers, direction changes every six hours, and no drop-downs for multi-day fixed-time runs.
