Course and logistics
Courses use rolling desert single track and old jeep trail with a Pemberton Trail loop used for the 25K, 50K, and 75K options. Each 25K loop features about 800 feet of elevation gain and loss. The Pemberton loop will be run clockwise for all laps. The 7K and 15K use a hilly Scenic Trail option.
Aid stations include a fully stocked start/finish station and a remote Granite Tank station on the long loop. Stations provide water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food. This is a cupless race; runners should bring a reusable cup or purchase one on site. A designated area at the start/finish will hold drop bags. Crews are allowed at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted only for the 75K beginning with the third loop. Time limits vary by distance, with the 75K carrying a 14-hour limit and a final cutoff at 7:00 AM.
Parking for longer distances is at the Pemberton Trailhead. Parking for the 25K, 15K, and 7K is at the Four Peaks Trailhead staging area with a shuttle to the start/finish; shuttles run regularly. The park charges a $7 entry fee per vehicle. Medical staff will be based at the start/finish. Course markings include orange ribbon with reflective medallions and laminated signs at junctions.
