Thrasher Night Trail is a night trail running event at Cave Creek Regional Park in Cave Creek, Arizona, held Friday, October 16, 2026. The event offers multiple distances and uses an 11-kilometer loop that includes the Slate, Quartz, Go John and Overton Trails.

The courses run on rolling desert single-track with fast smooth sections and more technical mountainous sections. The longer distances are completed by repeating the 11-kilometer loop; the 33K is three loops and the 22K is two loops. Each loop includes two named climbs, Quartz and Go John.

Aid support includes a fully stocked start/finish aid station at the Group Picnic Area and a remote Go John aid station on the long loop. Aid station supplies list water, ice, electrolyte drinks (Gnarly Hydrate), salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food such as quesadillas and grilled cheese. Results are chip timed and the event offers finish-line photos and live tracking. A designated drop bag area is available at the start/finish.

Crews are allowed at the start/finish only. Pacers are not allowed for any distance. The park charges a $10 entry fee per vehicle as of 1/1/26. Pets are not allowed on-course and must be leashed and supervised at the event. The race is cupless; participants should bring their own cup or purchase a reusable one on site.
