Javelina Jundred : Event
Javelina Jundred takes place October 25-26, 2025 at McDowell Mountain Regional Park, Four Peaks Staging Area (Javelina Jeadquarters) near Fountain Hills, Arizona. The event offers three distance options:
- 100 Mile
- 100K
- 31K
The 100 Mile race is a 2026 Western States 100 qualifier and is also a Western States Golden Ticket race; automatic Golden Ticket bids are awarded to the top two male and top two female finishers and may slide down to fifth place as needed. Time limits and finisher buckles are awarded by performance - for example the 100 Mile has a 30-hour limit and a sub-24 hour buckle.
Course, Support and Logistics
The course uses largely singletrack on the Pemberton, Shallmo, Cinch, and Escondido Trails. The 100 Mile route comprises one 22.3 mile loop plus four 19.45 mile loops; the 100K follows the same two loops. Key aid stations per loop are Javelina Jeadquarters, Coyote Camp, Jackass Junction, and Rattlesnake Ranch. Aid stations carry water, ice, Gatorade, GU gels, sweet and salty snacks, fruit, and several prepared food options.
Crewing is allowed only at Javelina Jeadquarters. Pacers must be human, on foot, used one at a time, and can be picked up or dropped only at Jeadquarters. The race is cupless - runners must provide their own reusable cup or bottle. Camping options include tent, car, and RV passes; RV spots are dry camping with no hookups.
