Course Overview

The event offers two distances on the undulating trails of Delamere Forest in Cheshire: a 21 km race and a 42 km race.

Logistics

The event takes place on April 26, 2026. The start and finish location is the Delamere Forest Visitor Centre in Northwich, CW8 2HZ. Pay & Display parking is available on-site, split between the main Visitor Centre Carpark and Whitefield Carpark on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that there is a one-mile walk from Whitefield Carpark to the race start.

Services

Bib collection is available at registration in the event village up to 90 minutes before the start time. A bag drop service is available at the race start, with one bag per participant permitted. Bag tags are provided with race bibs.

Requirements

The race operates under UK Athletics rules. There is a minimum age requirement of 17 for the 21 km race and 18 for the 42 km race.

Mandatory Kit

Participants must carry the following mandatory kit: a GPS watch and/or phone, a minimum 250ml water supply, a hat and gloves, a hooded jacket, and an emergency foil blanket. Recommended items include trail running shoes, a hydration pack, a foldable cup, technical running clothing, and a whistle.
