The RunThrough Trails Delamere Forest event is a trail running race on 26 April 2026 at Delamere Forest Visitor Centre, Northwich. The event offers the following distances:

Course and logistics

The courses follow undulating forest trails around Blakemere Moss, along the Sandstone Trail and up Old Pale Hill. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags. An event village is located at the Visitor Centre. Pay & Display parking is available at the main Visitor Centre car park and Whitefield Carpark; parking is first come, first serve. There is a one mile walk from Whitefield Carpark to the race start. A bag drop is available at the race start; bag tags are provided with the race bib.

Entry, rules and support

Entry options include individual places, group bookings and a RunThrough Foundation Place (no fundraising required). Minimum ages are 17 for the 21K and 18 for the 42K. The race is held under UK Athletics Rules. GPX files for both the 21K and 42K are available for download. Aid stations are provided at regular intervals.

Kit and partners

Mandatory kit items include a GPS watch or phone, at least 250 ml water, hat and gloves, a hooded jacket and an emergency foil blanket. Recommended items include trail running shoes, hydration pack, foldable cup, technical clothing and a whistle. Take on the Loggerheads Half Marathon at Loggerheads Country Park, three laps of a scenic 7 km loop with varied terrain and on course support. Solo runners or teams of three can enjoy a challenging course and a finishers medal.

Hit the Alyn Waters Winter Trails on 6 December 2025 for scenic 5 km and 10 km chip timed trail races, plus a 5 km canicross and a free children's 1 km dash. Friendly, accessible courses with medals for all and marshals throughout.

Join the Bobble Wobble Run at Hardy Farm for a relaxed off road towpath run around Chorlton Water Park with flexible rock up starts. Finishers get a bobble hat and medal while the race supports Flock and Fluff charity.

The The Beacon Bash will take place in Appley Bridge on Sunday 7 December 2025. You can run 20 miles.
