Combe Gibbet to Overton Race 2026 is a multi-terrain, cross-country event on 29 March 2026. The route runs from Combe Gibbet to Overton and covers 16 miles of Berkshire and Hampshire countryside. The course is undulating and includes hills, trails and muddy sections. The finish location is Overton Recreation Centre on Bridge Street, Overton. Maximum entry is 250 participants and minimum age is 18 years. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £24 and Unattached £26. Entries close on 28/03/2026 and remaining places were shown as 235 at the time of publication.

Logistics and rules

Race entry includes a bus ride from Overton to the start, transportation of kit back to the finish and professionally managed road crossings. If ground conditions are unsuitable, an alternative route using about half of the standard course will be used; this alternative route starts roughly 5 miles into the traditional route, uses more of the Wayfarers Walk and does not start at Combe Gibbet. A decision about switching routes will be made no later than one week before the race. Entrants must be able to sustain an average pace of 13 minutes per mile (8 minutes 15 seconds per km) to complete the event within 3 hours 30 minutes.
