Cline Buttes Last Person Standing

This event takes place at Cline Buttes near Redmond, Oregon, at 67585 SW Cline Falls Rd. It uses a loop course where runners repeat the same circuit for the duration they select. Course features include a 3.1 mile loop with a 0.4 mile climb that gains about 800 feet to the top of Cline Butte, followed by a downhill return to the start.

Last Person Standing runners begin a loop at the top of each hour and continue until only one runner remains. Winners in the Last Person Standing will receive $150 each in male, female, and non-binary categories. The 5k is one loop completed alongside other events.

There is one aid station near the start and finish offering a range of foods and beverages including snacks, meal items once longer events progress, broths, electrolytes, and coffee. Miscellaneous supplies such as first aid, sunscreen, and feminine hygiene products will be available. Bib pick-up and course start/finish are at the Cline Butte Rock Pit Trailhead. A route file for the course is provided by the organizers.

A portion of proceeds benefits the Mountain View High School cross country team in Bend. Native American and Indigenous runners receive free entry for any event. Youth discounts are available for participants 18 and under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
