Course and support

The course is a loop of about 3 miles that runners repeat for chosen time-duration events. The loop includes a 0.5 mile climb gaining about 800 feet to the top of Cline Butte, followed by a downhill return. The Last Person Standing format uses repeated hourly loops until one runner remains; the 5k consists of a single loop.

One aid station is located near the start/finish and will offer snacks, meal-style foods during later hours, beverages including broths and electrolyte packets, and basic supplies such as first aid, sunscreen, and menstrual products. Youth and military/first responder entry discounts and a free entry policy for Native American / Indigenous runners are part of the event policies.
