This event takes place at Cline Buttes near Redmond, Oregon and offers several timed and loop options on a single 3.1 mile course. Distances and formats include:

The course is a loop of about 3.1 miles that participants repeat for their chosen time-duration. The loop contains a 0.4 mile climb that gains about 800 feet to the top of Cline Butte, followed by a downhill return to the start area.
Last Person Standing participants begin a loop at the top of each hour until only one runner remains. The final runner must be at the starting corral at the top of the hour to continue. Winners in male, female, and non-binary categories receive $150 each.
There is one aid station near the start and finish. Food offerings include snacks and meal items such as chips, fruit, boiled potatoes, grilled cheese, quesadillas and pizza later in the night. Beverages include sodas, broths, electrolytes and coffee. Miscellaneous supplies listed for the aid station include first aid items, sunscreen, bug spray and feminine hygiene products.
A portion of proceeds will support the Mountain View High School cross country team in Bend. Individuals under 18 may have sponsors and may receive a youth discount; under 18 participants receive 50 percent off events longer than 5k and 20 percent off the 5k. If a registered athlete becomes pregnant or is postpartum and chooses not to compete, race credit may be rolled to a future year. No other refunds or bib transfers are provided.
