Brooksvale 12-Hour

Brooksvale 12-Hour is a timed endurance event in Hamden, CT organized by Live Loud Running and scheduled for June 27, 2026. The course is a roughly 3.1 mile loop with about 300 feet of elevation gain per loop. An aid station is available at each loop.

The event limits the field to 25 runners. Participants may use the format to pursue various distance targets; past results show multiple ultra distance finishers, with 28 people finishing an ultra-plus distance in 2024 and 14 finishing an ultra distance in 2025. Examples of loop-based targets mentioned include a marathon distance, a 50k (10 loops), and 50 miles.

Proceeds support the Brooksvale Gift Fund, which directs money to trail maintenance at the park, and another portion will go to a charity to be determined. A course map is available on Strava.

Registered entrants receive event items. Participants who sign up before June 14 are listed to receive a Bella+Canvas tri-blend shirt. Finishers receive a handmade Ragged Cuts medal and other awards; additional event provisions include food and socks.

Registration closes Fri, Jun 26. The event takes place at Brooksvale Park, 524 Brooksvale Avenue, Hamden, CT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
