Brickworks Trail Run

The Brickworks Trail Run is a social 10k trail run starting from Kickback Coffee at the Roastery in Macclesfield, SK10 5RX, England. The event includes a free coffee on arrival and asks participants to complete an event waiver before taking part.

The route follows a steady climb onto the Gritstone Trail and includes flatter running sections as well as several stiles. Hill sections are taken together and run socially with a pause at the top. The course is not pram friendly. Participants can expect panoramic views across the Peak District, Manchester, and Lyme Park deer park. Dogs are welcome but may need to be kept on leads when passing through farmers fields.

Parking at the Roastery can be limited and many spaces are marked private; weekend parking in these spaces is available and Kickback flags will help locate parking. The event runs as an in person community activity with an inclusive, social pace and regrouping points so no one is left behind.

Participants must follow the Kickback Coffee Code of Conduct. Key points include personal responsibility for one’s own safety, respectful behaviour toward others, mindfulness of other trail users, and a commitment to Trash Free Trails practices. Event leaders carry bags to collect litter found on the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
