Brickworks Trail Run

This is an in-person social trail run organised by Kickback Coffee at their Roastery on Bakestonedale Road, Macclesfield SK10 5RX, England. The event is a 10 km route that includes a steady climb onto the Gritstone Trail as well as flatter running sections. Hill sections are taken together at a social pace with a pause at the top.

Participants receive a free coffee on arrival. An event waiver must be completed before taking part. Parking at the Roastery can be limited and many spaces are signed private; parking availability is greater on weekends and Kickback flags are used to help locate spaces.

The route passes over a few stiles and is not pram friendly. Dogs are welcome but may need to be kept on leads through farmers’ fields and must be kept under control. The course offers panoramic views across the Peak District, Manchester, and Lyme Park’s deer park.

All participants are expected to follow the Kickback Coffee Code of Conduct. This includes personal responsibility for one’s actions, respectful behaviour toward other participants and the public, mindfulness of other trail users, and keeping trails free of litter. Event leaders carry bags to collect any found trash. The event is described as open to all and oriented toward inclusivity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
