Brickworks Trail Run

Brickworks Trail Run

The event is a community trail run hosted by Kickback Coffee at their roastery on Bakestonedale Road in Macclesfield SK10 5RX. It is organised as a social 10k route that follows sections of the Gritstone Trail and includes a steady climb together with several flatter running sections.

Participants are asked to complete an event waiver before taking part. The run is conducted at an inclusive, social pace with regrouping points along the route to keep the group together. The course crosses a few stiles and is not pram friendly. Dogs are welcome but may need to be kept on leads in farmers' fields and must be kept under control.

The roastery offers free coffee on arrival. Parking at the roastery can be limited and some spaces are marked private; Kickback flags are used to help locate available parking on the weekend. Leaders carry bags to collect any litter as part of the Trash Free Trails community approach.

All attendees are expected to follow a Code of Conduct that covers personal responsibility, respectful behaviour, mindfulness of other trail users, dog control, and adherence to the event values of openness and inclusivity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
