Round Sheffield Run: Summer edition
The Round Sheffield Run is a multi-stage trail running enduro held across a weekend in Sheffield. The route covers 24.5 km in total, with 11 timed stages that together make up 20 km of the course. Stages are short, individually timed sections that each have their own character; competitors receive results for each stage and a combined overall result.
The event provides two entry formats: Individuals or Pairs. Pairs must complete all stages running together. Competitors may walk or jog between timed stages. Runners are set off at regular intervals, creating a staggered start format and continuous flow on course.
On-course support includes food stations and medical cover. Entry items issued on the day include a race number and a SPORTident timing dibber, plus full route and stage information. Finishers receive a medal. There are refreshments and a post-race gathering with beer, coffee, wood-fired pizza, street food and live music.
The event has an Elite Wave with qualifying standards of a 20-minute 5 km for men and a 22-minute 5 km for women. Estimated completion times for the full route range from about 1 hour 45 minutes to 4 hours 30 minutes. The minimum age for entry is 15 or older.
