Round Sheffield Run: Summer

Round Sheffield Run is a multi stage trail running enduro held across trails and parkland in Sheffield. The event consists of 11 timed stages that together account for 20 km of an overall 24 km route.

Each of the 11 stages is timed individually and also contributes to an overall time. Participants receive a time for each stage and an overall finish time within seconds of finishing. Stages vary in character and include climbs and flowing trail sections across parkland.

The event offers entry for solo runners and for pairs and is described as welcoming a range of abilities, from elite runners to those newer to trail events. A summer edition is scheduled for 27 and 28 June 2026 and a winter edition is scheduled for 10 January 2026.

A post race festival forms part of the event atmosphere and features draft ales, food vendors and a DJ. Volunteer roles support event operations and separate stage and route information is provided for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

A new fell race from Sinfin Running Club around the Chevin covering 8.9 km with 315 m of climb. The marked course uses two short loops and a figure of eight and includes some short road sections.

Three trail routes start at Bakewell Showground and explore varied Peak District terrain including moors, valleys and parts of the Pennine Way. The Half Marathon route includes outposts and does not allow dogs.

A memorial trail run of about 5.5 miles from Worksop College into Clumber Park on 31 May 2026, with marshalling, first aid support and a finisher medal. All profits are donated to Cancer Research.
