Trail Running calendar near Glendale 2026-2027

Run through the Santa Monica Mountains on Thanksgiving morning. Choose from a half marathon, 10k, or 5k on scenic fire roads and singletrack. The entry includes a shirt, medal, breakfast, and a post race beer garden.

A 28k trail run in Fremont Canyon at Irvine Regional Park featuring about 3800 feet of elevation change and four aid stations. The course runs on fire roads, is cupless, and participants are asked to carry personal hydration.

Trail races at Crystal Cove State Park with 6k, 15k and a Kids 1k course near the beach. The 15k includes technical features and a $2,000 prize purse, with aid stations stocked by Skratch Labs.

The Backbone Trail Ultra is a 68 mile run along the entire Backbone Trail in the Santa Monica Mountains. Solo runners need prior 50 mile experience, while relay teams do not. The event is limited to 200 participants.
