The ANNUAL NATRO@NOLI INDIAN SCHOOL Trail Race is held at The Oaks on the Soboba Indian Reservation in San Jacinto, CA. The event is organized by NATRO in collaboration with Noli Indian School and offers Native and Open divisions. Distances include awards for the top three male and female finishers in all distances except the Kids 3k. Finisher awards and event T-shirts are provided. The event has a 150 entrant cap and an 8-hour cut-off for the Marathon. No drop-downs are allowed in any race. Twenty-five percent of participant registration fees, sponsorships, and donations will directly benefit Noli Indian School to establish a Scholar/ Athlete Scholarship.
Course and logistics
The courses include a mix of hills, sand, rock, single track, stream crossings, and fire roads. Aid stations and supplies vary by distance. Key details:
- Marathon - two loops of 13.1 miles, 2,000+ ft elevation gain; six aid stations.
- Half Marathon - single 13.1-mile loop, 1,000+ ft elevation gain; three aid stations.
- 5k - single loop with sand steps and short hills; one aid station; not stroller friendly.
- Kids 3k - age 12 and under.
