Event Overview
The Annual NATRO@NOLI INDIAN SCHOOL Trail Races take place on April 18, 2026. The event starts and finishes at The Oaks on the Soboba Indian Reservation in San Jacinto, California. It is organized in collaboration with Noli Indian School.
Distances and Divisions
The event offers several race distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 5k
- Kids 3k Walk/Run (for participants age 12 and under) Both Native and Open divisions are available for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5k. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in all distances except the Kids 3k. A discount is offered for Native runners; they must provide proof of tribal affiliation.
Course Details
The trail course features varied terrain including hills, sand, rock, single track, stream crossings, and fire roads. The Marathon has an elevation gain of over 2,000 feet, while the Half Marathon has over 1,000 feet. The Marathon route consists of two 13.1-mile loops. The 5k is an out-and-back course and is not stroller-friendly. Aid stations with water and electrolytes will be provided along the courses.
Event Logistics
There is a 100-participant cap for the event. It is a cup-less race. Check-in and bib pickup begin at 5:30 AM. A bag drop area will be available near the start/finish for marathon runners. The event will be held rain or shine, and no refunds are offered. Finishers in all divisions and distances receive an award and a T-shirt.
Purpose
A portion of the proceeds from registrations, sponsorships, and donations will benefit Noli Indian School to establish a Scholar/Athlete Scholarship for a student. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
