Courses and elevation
The 10-mile course is a loop with about 2,300 feet of elevation gain per lap and is used for the 10 and 50 milers. The 20-mile course circles the lake and is used for the 20-mile ruck division, the 100 miler, and the 200 miler; this course has about 4,500 feet of elevation gain. The 200-mile distance is described as 200 miles with over 44,000 feet of elevation gain and technical terrain. Aid stations include a full aid station at mile 6 for the 10 and 50 milers, and an additional aid station at mile 2.8 for the 20-mile, 100- and 200-mile courses.
Rules and logistics
Cutoff times are: 96 hours for the 200 miler, 48 hours for the 100 miler, 24 hours for the 50 miler, 12 hours for the 20-mile ruck, and no cutoff for the 10-mile. Pacers are not allowed for the 10-mile or ruck division. The 50-miler may have a pacer for the final lap. 100-mile runners may have pacers after completing 60 miles (three laps); 200-mile runners may have pacers after completing 80 miles (four laps). Ruck weights are 20 pounds for females and 30 pounds for men. Camping is provided at the group campground; access and checkout times are given on the event page.
