Riley Park Trail Races

The Riley Park Trail Races take place in Orange County and offer multiple distance options held on a looped course. The event utilizes a 3.3 mile loop for all participants, with varying numbers of laps required depending on the chosen distance. The course is located within a natural park setting, providing a trail running experience during the summer season.

Registration is available for several specific distances and a timed event:

  • 5k: 1 loop
  • 10k: 2 loops
  • 10 Miler: 3 loops
  • Half Marathon: 4 loops
  • 30k: 6 loops
  • 6 Hour: Completion of as many loops as possible within the timeframe

Participants in the 30k category have a time limit of 6.5 hours to finish their event. For all participants, check-in on race morning begins at 6:15 am.

Bib pickup is organized across multiple days and locations prior to the race. Early pickup is available at Road Runner Sports in Costa Mesa and Fleet Feet in Laguna Niguel on the Thursday and Friday preceding the event. There is also an option for runners to pick up their bibs on race morning at the event site. Into the Wild is a 5k trail run at Saddleback Wilderness on July 15, 2026, over fire roads and single track with 300 ft of elevation gain. Entry is limited to 150 runners and there is no race day registration.
