About the race
Terrain Race Irvine 2026 is an obstacle and mud focused 5K event held at Oak Canyon Park in Irvine, CA on November 21, 2026. The course is based on a 5K structure, roughly three miles, and includes mud pits, walls, ropes, monkey bars and 11 or more other obstacles arranged to fit the venue terrain. Multiple difficulty levels are offered.
A pre-race festival village opens before the first wave and provides packet pickup, warm-ups, gear check, vendor booths, music, and photo opportunities. A finish line festival begins after participants complete the course and includes medal distribution, food and drinks, music, and sponsor booths.
Registration options include a Value package and a VIP package. The Value package lists items such as a race bib, finisher medal, free race photos, access to all obstacles, and post-race festival access. The VIP package includes Value items plus VIP check-in, a 2026 tour T shirt, Terrain Race headband, drawstring bag, silicone wristband, VIP tattoo, and priority wave start; the VIP option also includes the listed insurance and venue fee.
