That's No Moon Trail Races
That's No Moon is a trail race in Cleveland National Forest near Silverado, CA, offering three distances on forest roads through the Santa Ana Mountains. The courses run in remote, rough terrain with exposed ridgelines and sections not easily accessible; extreme weather conditions can occur.
Distances:
- 50 Mile - 9,440 ft total elevation gain, max elevation 4,530 ft
- 50K - 5,469 ft total elevation gain, max elevation 3,845 ft
- 30K - 2,899 ft total elevation gain, max elevation 3,359 ft
Aid stations are staffed and vary between full support and water-only locations; some stations have radio support. Crew access and pacer rules differ by distance: crew and pacers are permitted on the 50 Mile at specified locations, while the 50K and 30K have limited or no on-course crewing and no pacers. Drop bag locations are provided for certain distances.
Runners must carry their own food, fluids, clothing, and supplies between aid stations and a minimum of 40 oz of water. Lights are required for running after dark.
