Course and logistics

The courses run through the Cleveland National Forest and the Santa Ana Mountains on 4X4 Jeep trails. The routes include exposed ridgelines, technical paths, and significant elevation gain. Aid stations provide support along the course, but the remote sections require self-sufficiency and careful preparation. Participants may encounter off-road vehicle traffic on the trails. The event operates a cupless policy; reusable cups are available for purchase at registration and on race day, or participants may bring their own.
