INTO the WILD OC Trail Run

The INTO the WILD trail run is scheduled for August 26, 2026 at the Red Rock Wilderness Augustine Staging Area in Silverado, California. The start and finish are located at the Limestone Canyon / Augustine Staging Area, which also serves as race day parking.

The course is a single loop of approximately 5k (3.4 miles) that follows a mix of fire roads and single-track trails. Total elevation gain on the course is about 300 feet. One aid station is positioned near mile 1.75 and provides water and electrolyte. The event is cupless; participants are advised to use a personal cup or handheld hydration such as a HydraPak Speedcup.

Pre-running the course is not allowed except on designated wilderness access days or during docent-led activities. Unauthorized access or pre-running may jeopardize the ability to host these events in the future. Pets are not permitted on the land.

Packet pickup and check in occur before the race, and a post-race taco dinner is planned. Registration is set at $45.00 through the stated deadline of August 25, 2026 at 5pm. No race day registration is available. Organizers provide a course map and a downloadable GPX file for navigation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
